"SLINGSBY HORNETS- SOMETHING OLD..SOMETHING NEW… EXPERDITION HOTDOG- Glam-soaked power pop from this UK bunch who were nice enough to include a guitar pick (and sticker) inside their cd case. Heavy on the whooshing synthesizers and pumped-up guitars this band seems like they know how to have a good time with songs like “Pinball” “Are Friends Electric?” and “The Devil May Care.” About half of these are covers so this batch of tunes Is fun. www.myspace.com/theslingsbyhornets"
